Dr. Charles Bobb
Dr. Charles Bobb graduated in 1972 from Purdue University. He started working at Dixie Animal Hospital on July 1, 1972.  He's been married to his beautiful wife for 50+ years.  They have three boys and five granddaughters who they spend a lot of time with. They enjoy watching their granddaughters play soccer, attending dance recitals, and vacationing in Florida with their family.
Dr. Bobb and his wife currently share two King Charles Cavaliers. Once a year Dr. Bobb and his buddies go to South Dakota to hunt Quail, Pheasant, and Rabbit.  He also has a passion for gardening.  Perennials are his favorite.

Dr. Alvey
Dr. Alvey was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky.  She went to Murray State University for her Bachelors and Masters degrees and graduated from Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.  After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Alvey returned home to Louisville and began working at Dixie Animal Hospital.  She got married in December 2015 and is living in Louisville with her husband, Adam.  They have two dogs, Pogo, a three legged terrier mix, and coyote, a little rat terrier.  Both are rescues and loving your second chances at life.  They also have a fish, Squishy, Squishy the Fishy, a.k.a. Tails.  In her spare time, Dr. Alvey likes to go camping, play video games, and volunteer at Black Acre Nature Preserve.
Dr. Stephanie Mittelkamp
Dr. Mittelkamp grew up in Campbellsville, Kentucky where she also completed her BS in Biology at Campbellsville University. She completed her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2014.
After graduation, Dr. Mittelkamp returned to Kentucky to start her veterinary career here, at Dixie Animal Hospital.  She lives with her husband, Matt, and three furry children, a rescued lab mix, Lexie, and two very spoiled cats, Cadence and Kona.  Dr. Mittelkamp is a member of the AVMA and Christian Veterinary Missions.  Through veterinary missions, she has been able to interact and impact communities in Mexico and Mongolia through the care of their animals.  Dr. Mittelkamp enjoys spending down time with her husband, enjoying the outdoors with Lexie, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Mittelkamp interest in veterinary medicine include emergency medicine and surgery, but all aspects of general practice are what drew her to this field. She is very excited to be pursuing her life-long dream of caring for her pet’s will being.

Dr. Jill H Cook
Born and raised in Kentucky, Dr. Cook received her BS in Biology from Western Kentucky University. She continued her education at Auburn University where she obtained a doctorate of Veterinary medicine.
After graduation, or to cook return to Kentucky to start her veterinary career and her family. She got married and has lived in Louisville with her husband since 2008.  Ruling the household are their 13-year-old Wheaton Terrier, and Meaty, their English bulldogs.
Dr. Cook is a member of the KVMA and the AVMA.  Professionally, she enjoys most aspects of general practice, but does love surgery.  It was a lifelong dream to become a veterinarian and to be able to help those that can't help themselves.  Living a dream come true.
Dr. McIntyre
Dr. McIntyre is a native Louisville. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.  He has been at Dixie Animal Hospital for 16 years.  His professional interest include surgery and shelter medicine.  He is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his son, Scotty, who is his pursuing an engineering degree from the University of Kentucky.  He has a dog named Truman and a cat named dude.
